-Harper College- College Career Expo - games and activities to explore science, takes place in April, cost: free. - Ignite your child’s excitement for learning and higher education. Experience over 50 educational and interactive activities and demonstrations in various areas of interest. Activities are geared towards children in grades 4 - 8 and their families. This free event is family-friendly and open to everyone.

Duke University Youth Programs
SketchUp Make-completely free (no cost) for K-12 students and educators (recommended if only working in 3D). Recommended for use at home.
SketchUp Pro-discounted cost for college students and educators (this is the version we use in class), (recommended if needing to create 2D drawings from your 3D design).
SketchUp Make is a very capable and powerful tool for drawing in 3D.... SketchUp Pro is bundled with LayOut, an application for creating 2D presentations of your SketchUp drawings. SketchUp Pro allows you to import and export from/to 2D and 3D CAD applications.
